Founded more than 100 years ago in Fukui, Japan, it has made glasses for everyone from Emperor Hirohito to Robert De Niro.

There are 200 manual process involved in making a single MASUNAGA Frame. MASUNAGA is the Only Company in Japan that has a factory in charge of all processes from raw material to production and finish in an integrated way. The integrated production system improves the detail and quality.

While new collections are revealed every year, Masunaga Optical’s classic designs remain available and their enduring popularity is a testament to their timeless appeal.
